Simone Gentles-Burke, M.Sc., N.D. is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and is practicing in Brantford.  She is registered through the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy.  She has completed internships at the Robert Shad Naturopathic Clinic, the largest Naturopathic Medical Centre in North America and the Sherbourne Centre which provides health care for persons living with HIV / AIDS.  She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP) as well as the International Association of Auricular and Bioenergetic Medicine (IAABM).

Simone uses modern diagnostics as well as Eastern philosophies to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care – from pediatric to geriatric.  Simone has done additional training in European techniques such as auricular medicine, biotherapeutic drainage and in gemmotherapies.  She is also certified in Environmental Medicine - testing, treating and restoring the body after everyday environmental exposures.  Simone promotes healthy lifestyle choices and integrates auricular medicine, nutrition, acupuncture, botanicals, homeopathy and physical medicine to address the cause of your symptoms.  From the first visit Simone addresses your health goals.

Simone has a strong scientific background.  She has a Degree in Biochemistry, has worked for research as well as pharmaceutical companies and has over 8 publications in top scientific journals. In addition, Simone has always had a passion for health and wellness and an interest in learning about alternative healing methods.  Through her travels she has seen the value of integrating both conventional as well as alternative medicine.  In her search for a deeper understanding of health and healing she completed her Masters in Ethnobotany.  She has expanded her knowledge on plants and spirituality through her work with an indigenous healer in Jamaica. She has continued this work and recently edited a book on traditional plants and healing methods of the Maroons in Jamaica. 

Simone has had additional training in homeopathy through studies with prominent homeopaths in India.  She is also certified in Auricular and Bioenergetic Medicine, Environmental Medicine as well as First Line Therapy and Healthy and Active – healthy nutrition and lifestyle programs.
